CAN I USE ROLLERS WITH THE HEAT CAP?

No, do not use rollers with the heat cap. The heat cap may be used with conditioning cream, lotion or rinse, including henna.

WHAT IS THE WATTAGE OF MY GOLD ‘N HOT® DRYER?

The wattage information for dryer is located on the handle next to the model number, as well as in the user’s manual.

IS MY GOLD ‘N HOT® APPLIANCE DUAL VOLTAGE?

It depends on the model. Dual voltage information will be included on the packaging, as well as printed in the instruction book packed inside the box. For appliances with automatic worldwide dual voltage, the dual voltage styling appliance will automatically adjust to the proper voltage. In North America, connect the plug into any outlet. Outside North America, use a plug adapter of the proper configuration with the plug before connecting it into any outlet. The 125-volt position is used in North America; several overseas countries require 250 voltage.

CAN I USE SYNTHETIC SHINE PRODUCTS OR THERMAL HEAT PROTECTOR ON MY HAIR BEFORE USING THIS HAIR TOOL?

For additional heat protection, we recommend giving your strands a spritz of your favorite thermal heat protector spray before using styling tools. For synthetic hair, please consult your wig or extensions manufacturer’s manual for recommendations with heat styling.

CAN I USE GOLD ‘N HOT® HAIR TOOLS ON WIGS OR SYNTHETIC HAIR?

We accept refunds for any online orders made within 30 days. HOW LONG SHOULD I STEAM THE ROLLER?

We recommend steaming the roller for no more than 5-7 seconds, but depending on your hair length and texture, you should adjust that range to find what works best for your hair Fine/Thin hair: 3-5 seconds Medium/Wavy hair: 4-6 seconds Coarse/Thick hair: 5-7 seconds

SHOULD MY HAIR FEEL WET AFTER REMOVING THE ROLLERS?

We recommend steaming the roller for less than 7 seconds to prevent excess moisture to your hair. Setting time under natural drying conditions is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. You may prefer to speed up the process by using a hair dryer, bonnet dryer or a hard hat.

IS THE CARUSO STEAM SETTER DUAL VOLTAGE?

We do offer two models that are dual voltage: C97953 Molecular Steam Setter 30 Rollers & C97956 Molecular Steam Setter 14 Rollers. Unfortunately, is not sold separately. The secret to Caruso® Professional Molecular® Curls is the rollers! The roller design allows for breathing space between foam and shield for faster evaporation and tighter curls. The unique shield lock holds rollers tightly.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE STEAMER, AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN IT?

To clean the steamer, add one tablespoon of vinegar to the water and allow the unit to steam for one complete cycle. Unplug the steamer and let it cool before you pour out any residual water from the steamer. We recommend cleaning the steamer after every use.
